Edition Compare Tool

Use this Stranger Than Heaven edition compare tool to pin Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s to a single grid. US street prices in current coverage are $69.99, $89.99, and $129.99. Digital extras all live in the Deluxe Upgrade pack. Physical extras all live in the Collector’s box. Kagekiri is a preorder rider, not a Deluxe exclusive. The prose version of this grid is the editions hub.

How to read the grid

Start with format. If you need a disc, Standard physical or Collector’s. If you need Steam, Standard or Deluxe digital. If you need Game Pass, you may not need a row at all. Then look at digital extras: they turn on together with Deluxe or with a Collector’s voucher. Then look at furniture: vinyl, SteelBook, art box. Then look at Kagekiri: on if you preorder, off if you wait, regardless of which pretty row you liked.

Japan’s yen prices and tax-in language live in the editions essays because a grid that mixes $ and ¥ without a converter is how people buy the wrong thing. If your storefront disagrees with a cell, your storefront wins. This tool is a map of SEGA’s published rungs plus Western press lists, not a checkout API. For the blade’s clocks, leave the grid and read preorder. For the box photos, read Collector’s.

What the extras are for, in one sentence each

Original outfit: a costume for Makoto. Four weapons: more sided steel, unnamed in Western bullets. Four performers: show-loop seasoning. Three stage items: lighting and production toys. Poster: in-game promo object. Record player: hideout jukebox for era tracks. Electronic camera: expanded photography. Vinyl: real-world record of the theme. SteelBook: disc house. Art box: the reason the shipping carton is heavy. Game: the fifty-year thing you actually came for, present in every row, including a Game Pass install that is not on this grid.

If that paragraph did not excite you, you want Standard or a subscription. If the performer and stage sentences excited you, read how to run shows before you pay, so you know the verbs. If the vinyl sentence excited you, confirm you own a needle or a wall. The preorder editorial exists for the lingering sweat after the grid goes quiet.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Does Deluxe include the vinyl?

No. Vinyl is a Collector’s physical extra. Deluxe’s record player is an in-game jukebox.

Is Kagekiri on the Deluxe row?

Only if that Deluxe copy is a preorder. The cell is a preorder flag, not a Deluxe flag.

Can I add Collector’s furniture later?

Not as a published menu. Limited box, limited time. Digital extras can be upgraded; the record cannot be downloaded as a disc.
