Tokyo Game Show 2026

Official Japanese copy is blunt: the TGS demo is the media-event battle build with further adjustment, offered so visitors can feel the combat system. It is not a promise of Atami free roam. It is not a download. Business days are September 17–18, 10:00–17:00. Public days are September 19–20, 9:30–17:00, and September 21, 9:30–16:00. If you are flying for exploration density, Sakamoto already told you the iceberg is in the full game; the booth is still a combat classroom. Brush controls and the Gamescom playthrough before you queue.

Ryu-sta TV’s TGS 2026 traveling edition opens the booth on the 17th with “new information.” Treat that as the live news slot. This page will update when that stream exists as a stable YouTube ID. We will not embed a guess.

The in-booth theater screens character music films, including unreleased tracks, on a lottery for public days. SEGA extended applications through August 28 for residents of Japan, one entry per person, winners mailed in early September, and you still need a TGS public ticket. Some screenings allow walk-ups. The three bills are the map of who the studio wants heard:

Reel one: Makoto Daito (Yu Shirota), Yu Shinjo (Dean Fujioka), Takashi (Satoshi Fujihara of Official Hige Dandism). Reel two: Keiko Shirai (Ado). Reel three: Suzy Day (Tori Kelly). That is why Atami and the show guide keep sending you back to the cast. The theater is not Deluxe. It is marketing for the music war already in the base game.

SEGA published the guest grid on August 21 and added names on August 27. Times and stream URLs come later. Appearances can change. As announced: September 17, Ryu-sta TV TGS edition with new info. September 18 special stage — Takashi Ukaji and Tsuji Classic (Nippon no Shacho). September 19 gameplay stage — Kenny Omega; special stage — Akio Otsuka and Yasukaze Motomiya. September 20 gameplay stage — kson; special stage — Takaya Kuroda. September 21 gameplay stage — Ushizawa; special last stage — Yu Shirota and Dean Fujioka.

Those names are not random influencers. Ukaji voices Iwaki and Hataoka. Kuroda is Godai, catnip for Like a Dragon fans that Yokoyama still refuses to turn into a young-Kiryu tour. Shirota and Fujioka are the fifty-year triangle. If you cannot attend, the portal says each program will also run on the RGG Studio channel. Come back to this URL when those IDs exist. Do not watch a leaked phone clip and call it the stage.

A booth will not score substories. A theater reel will not prove 1965. A Kenny Omega gameplay stage will not publish PC specs. Steam still says TBD. Denuvo still sits on the Steam PC SKU. Day-one Game Pass still exists. Preorders still include Dosu: Kagekiri. If you are going to Makuhari to decide Deluxe versus Game Pass, you already have the honest answer on should you preorder: subscribe if you are curious, disc if you are a completionist, wait if the Gamescom recovers already make you angry.

After TGS this page will add a “what the floor added” paragraph: new combat tweaks, any city footage beyond 1943, any pause-menu overlay that overrules the B-plus-bumper guard note.
